Pricing & Timelines
How much does a new roof cost in Tucson?
It depends on the roof type. In the Tucson market, shingle replacement typically runs $7,000–$15,000, tile underlayment replacement (lift & relay) $9,000–$18,000, full tile replacement $15,000–$35,000+, and flat roof work from $2,500–$6,000 for a recoat up to $6,000–$15,000 for full replacement. Roof size, pitch, material tier, and tear-off requirements drive the range. Your SKI Roofing estimate is free and itemized.
How long does a tile roof replacement take in Tucson or Oro Valley?
A tile lift & relay typically takes 3–7 working days for an average Tucson or Oro Valley home; full tile replacement can run somewhat longer. Monsoon & Storm Damage
How does Tucson's monsoon season affect my roof?
Monsoon storms (mid-June through September) hit Tucson roofs three ways: wind-driven rain that finds failed seams and slipped tiles, hail that bruises shingles and cracks tiles, and debris that clogs scuppers and drains, turning flat roofs into pools. Most monsoon leaks come from problems that existed before the storm. Watch for slipped or cracked tiles, standing water on flat roofs 48 hours after rain, and interior stains, and get a pre-monsoon inspection in May or June while fixes are still small.
